Shiwa House.

Shiwa House stands as the historic centerpiece of Shiwa Ng’andu, embodying the estate’s rich heritage and enduring legacy. Built in the early 20th century, the manor reflects a blend of English country architecture and African highland character, overlooking the tranquil waters of Lake Shiwa. Its thick, red brick walls and expansive grounds tell the story of generations who have lived and worked at the estate, making it both a family home and a cultural landmark. Soon, Shiwa House will undergo extensive renovations and improvements, ensuring its preservation while enhancing its facilities. With completion planned for late 2027, the house looks forward to welcoming guests once again, offering an immersive experience of history, tradition, and timeless charm

Impandala Tented Camp
(Coming soon)

Set within the Manshya Conservancy on the Impandala side of the estate, Impandala Tented Camp will offer a secluded retreat immersed in nature.
The camp will feature four canvas, brick, and tile chalets, each blending rustic charm with comfort, and centered around an outdoor bonfire area and safari-style kitchen. Designed for guests seeking a close connection to the land, Impandala provides an authentic experience of Shiwa’s wild beauty. Looking ahead, the historic Impandala Farm House will also be available for guests from 2028/29, expanding the camp’s offerings. Together, these accommodations reflect Shiwa Ng’andu’s vision of immersive, conservation-driven hospitality rooted in heritage, simplicity, and the rhythms of the African highlands.
